 FAQ
1. How are Masquerade speakers installed?
Mounting the speakers is easy; there are openings in the back of the speakers, allowing the speakers to be mounted to the wall easily. To get the most from your speakers, we recommend consulting a Masquerade dealer, who can judge all aspects. This can be helpful as the quality of the sound is determined by other audio components, the room's acoustic qualities, the listener's position and the settings of the equipment.
If you are installing the loudspeakers yourself, we recommend trying different set-ups (such as different fixation heights and positions of the speakers). This will allow you to determine which position will give the best results.
2. Do all my speakers have to be Masquerade speakers?
No, this is not a necessity. If you would like to use the Masquerade subwoofer only, for example, you can continue to use your "normal" loudspeakers. An other option is to extend your current audio installation with 2 Masquerade loudspeakers as rear speakers. Ideally, you would keep all loudspeakers from the same type, so they will sound and react the same. However, a well chosen combination can produce a high quality result as well, both acoustically and visually.
3. Can I use any photo to be reproduced on the Masquerade loudspeakers?
In general, anything can be reproduced, but to get the best results, good source material is important. If you are not sure about the quality of the source material, you can always send the material to us so we can verify it. To get the best visual results, it is also important to match the image to the size of the speaker. We will do this for you, but it might involve resizing or editing the image (digitally) to get the best results. Due to copyright restrictions, we can only use images of which you are the owner, or of which you have acquired the rights.
